With the National Mass Drug Administration Program for filarisis coming to an end tomorrow, the program coordinator has urged members of the public to visit their nearest health centres.
Program coordinator Ravinesh Chetty said there is a need to eliminate filarisis from Fiji, which can solely be done through people making the effort to take the tablets.
He added that there are more than 260 people in the country who are affected with complications from filarisis.
He added however the tablets will still be available at the health centres.
