The Vodafone Fiji 7s side's aim of winning the overall World Series is over even if they win the remaining two tournaments because the battle now is between New Zealand and South Africa.

Fiji is sitting in third place with 112 points while New Zealand is in first place with 136 points and South Africa is second with 129 points.

South Africa will need to win both the tournaments to win the series and hope that New Zealand does not make the semifinals in both the remaining tournaments.

Meanwhile, New Zealand sevens coach Gordon Tietjens said captain DJ Forbes outstanding performance in the final against England inspired the men in black to their first Hong Kong title in three years.

The next tournament will be held in Scotland on the 4th and 5th of May.
