New Zealand Prime Minister John Key said Fiji's suspension from the Pacific Islands Forum will be considered at the special Pacific Islands Leaders forum in Papua New Guinea today.

Meanwhile, according to the New Zealand Herald, John Key spent most of the Air Force Boeing 757 flight to Port Moresby talking about Fiji with other leaders, including Tongan Prime Minister Fred Sevele, Samoan Prime Minister Tuilaeta and Niue Premier and forum Chairman Toke Talagi.
Key also told Radio Australia that forum members need to be unified in their stance. He is also optimistic that Bainimarama will listen to the forum leaders.
