Tongan Prime Minister Dr. Feleti Sevele said Fiji's Interim Prime Minister Commodore Frank Bainimarama will be whole heartedly welcomed at the Leaders Forum just like any other leader.

The Ministry of Information reports that Dr. Sevele made these comments while opening the Civil Society Organisation meeting in Tonga this morning.

Dr. Sevele said he saw nothing wrong with Commodore Bainimarama's attendance at the forum as it is his right to be there and more importantly because Fiji is a major leader in regional affairs.

He brushed aside claims that Bainimarama's attendance will be a hurdle in the regional meet and said he does not have any problem with the interim government in particular the political challenges which Fiji faces.

Meanwhile, Commodore Frank Bainimarama is expected to arrive in Tonga on Monday for the Pacific Islands Leaders Forum.
