The Deputy Governor of the Reserve Bank of Fiji said he doesn't understand why there are so many conflicting reports on the current state of the economy.
Speaking to Fijivillage News, Sada Reddy, said the Reserve Bank issues press releases that contain information which is based on statistics received from various people who conduct surveys on how the economy is doing.
Reddy said they work closely with the Bureau of Statistics before they release any reports on how the economy is doing and adds that he sees signs that the economy is improving.
Reddy adds that the Tourism Industry is an area that will help improve our economy.
