Fiji 7's assistant coach, Etuate Waqa said the current team still has a lot to prove and show to the Rugby World that Fijians are the best when it comes to 7's rugby.
Fiji last won the Dubai 7s in 1998.
The Dubai 7s kicks off at 6:20pm with the opening match between Wales and Scotland.
Fiji's first game is against Argentina is at 7:04pm.
At 10.46pm Fiji takes on United Arab Emirates and tomorrow morning at 4:06am Fiji takes on Samoa.
