The Fiji women’s rugby 7s side is confident that it will make an impressive debut in Moscow next weekend in the Rugby World Cup.
Coach Timoci Wainiqolo said they have set their sights for a top finish.
The former national rep added he has a young side and they can deliver in Russia.
The Fijiana side is pooled with USA, Spain and Brazil.
Pricilla Siata will captain the side which includes Siteri Tabua, Asinate Savu, Tavaita Rowati (Vice Captain), Rusila Nagasau, Talica Vodo, Luisa Tisolo, Esiteri Bulikiobo, Viniana Riwai, Litia Naiqato, Elina Ratauluva and Suliana Gusuivalu.
Meanwhile, the Fiji men’s 7s team will play Tonga at 12.28am next Saturday in their first pool match.
We then take on Uruguay at 6.28pm next Saturday and Fiji’s last pool match is against Wales at 12.42am Sunday.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 9pm Sunday, the Cup semis kick off at 12.40am Monday while the World Cup 7s final will start at 4.55am Monday.
