The Telecom Fijiana side has qualified for the semifinals at the Australia Central Coast 7s Women’s Competition after they defeated the Great Sydney Rams 26-5.
They finished top of their pool after defeating Japanese based club Rugirl 48-0, Maroubarouba Magics 45-5 and also Central Coast Academy 45-5 in their pool matches.
Telecom Fijiana captain, Rusila Nagasau said that they had prepared well for their quarter final match and are looking forward to the semifinals.
She said that the semifinals will be very tough as they will be meeting Australia who had beaten them in the Oceania 7s last month.
Telecom Fijian Coach, Iliesa Tanivula also said that they need to work on their concentration for the whole 14 minutes and be consistent.
The Telecom Fijian side will play Australia at 3.30pm this afternoon in their semifinal match.
