Out of the fifty six bus companies operating in Fiji, only one if owned by an indigenous Fijian.

Sunset Bus company which services the villages and settlements along the Kings and Queens Highway daily, is completely owned by fifty three year old Jale Silimaibau.

Silimaibau who is the Managing Director and Owner of the company reveals that as part of his fleet he has seven buses, three trailers, a ten wheeler truck as well as fifteen staff members.

He said that all his success was only possible through the support of his family as well as his belief in God.

The Rakiraki native said the industry is very competitive but he has confidence that he can succeed.

Meanwhile, Silimaibau urges young Fijians looking into venturing into opening a business to always work hard to achieve their aim and success.
