Military spokesperson, Lieutenant Colonel Neumi Leweni has today confirmed that Fijians soldiers will continue to serve with the United Nations.
Speaking to Fijivillage News, Lt Colonel Leweni said as far as they are concerned, there has been no word on whether the UN has decided to pull out soldiers and police officers who continue to serve in different peace keeping areas around the world.
Lt Colonel Leweni added they will only comment on the issue if and when the UN will say otherwise.
