The Fijian Indian community in Brisbane is relieved and full of praise for the Queensland Police, for finally charging someone over the triple murder of the Singh Children in 2003.

A former Fiji resident and the Queensland Hindu Society Executive, Nick Prasad said that for the past five years police could not charge anyone regarding the murder of 24yr old Neelma Singh, her 18yr old brother Kunal and 12yr old sister Siddhi Singh at their family home in Brisbane while their parents were in Fiji.

Prasad said the case had many people left wondering if police had given up.

38yr old Max Sica appeared in the Brisbane court yesterday charged with three counts of murder and is remanded in custody.
