The FijiFirst is now a registered political party.
FijiFirst Leader, Voreqe Bainimarama said he is glad to receive the news that FijiFirst is now registered, after having fully complied with the provisions of the relevant laws and regulations.
Bainimarama thanked all those Fijians who signed up to be the original members of FijiFirst.
He said as the FijiFirst Constitution states, they are a national movement dedicated to the service of Fiji and to the advancement of the wellbeing of all the people.
Bainimarama said he is currently overseas on official duty, and upon his return, he will officially launch FijiFirst.
In the meantime, the FijiFirst will also call for expressions of interest from those Fijians who wish to stand as candidates for FijiFirst and those who want to participate as volunteers in their political movement.
The other registered parties are Social Democratic Liberal Party, the National Federation Party, the Fiji Labour Party and the People’s Democratic Party.
