Fiji and Auckland player Watisoni Lotawa has been cited for allegedly striking Manawatu player Francisco Bosch with his elbow in the Air New Zealand Cup match between Auckland and Manawatu at Eden Park last Saturday.

Lotawa was cited by Citing Commissioner Jim Meates for the incident in the 24th minute of the second half.

The citing was reviewed by Citing Complaints Review Officer Roger Drummonds yesterday, who decided it should go through to a hearing.

Lotawa will appear before judicial officer Peter Hobbs at the New Zealand Rugby Union office in Wellington tomorrow, with the hearing due to start at 3pm.
