The Digicel Fiji 7s team had no answer to the physicality of the Kenyans after losing 20-7 in the quarter finals of the London 7s last night.

Fiji was rattled as the Kenyans scored four tries while Fiji managed to grab a consolation try through Joji Ragamate.

This is the first time for Kenya to beat Fiji in the IRB series. The Kenyans first beat us in the 2009 World Cup 7s quarter final.

Fiji beat USA 14-5 to win the plate final of the London 7s.

Meanwhile, the All Blacks 7s team continued their fine performance in the IRB World Series after beating Australia 47-12 to win the London 7s title in style early this morning.

New Zealand last won in London six years ago and set a record by winning just two titles in a season to claim their 11th IRB World Sevens Series title.

Coach Gordon Tietjens said the win is a perfect way to start their preparation for the World Cup in Moscow.

England beat Kenya 26-19 in the third place play-off.

The Rugby World Cup Sevens will be held from the 28th to the 30th of next month in Moscow.
