This is for the people of Fiji.

Those were the words of Vodafone Fiji 7s coach Ben Ryan and captain Osea Kolinisau after Fiji made a memorable comeback in the second half to beat Australia in the Las Vegas 7s Cup Final by 21-15.

Kolinisau said the win is special for Fiji after the devastation caused by Tropical Cyclone Winston.

Fiji was down 15-0 at half time in very windy conditions however they made a strong comeback in the second half.

Ryan said he was happy with the team turning the game around in the second half.

The Ben Ryan coached side regrouped in the second half to keep possession and controlled the second half throughout.

Two tries from Kitione Taliga and a last minute try from Savenaca Rawaca broke the hearts of the Australians.

Ben Ryan said the players have worked hard despite having only ten players available in the final.

Amenoni Nasilasila and Isake Katonibau were down with flu.

Osea Kolinisau was the Player of the Final while Jasa Veremalua and Jerry Tuwai made the Las Vegas Dream Team.

Fiji now leads the World Sevens Series with 91 points.

South Africa is in second place with 86 points, New Zealand is third with 82 points while Australia is fourth with 73 points.

The Vancouver 7s will be held this Sunday and next Monday.
