Digicel Fiji sevens coach Ben Ryan will make his players work extra hard going into day two of the Gold Coast 7s.

Ryan said he is expecting a better performance from the side in every game.

Ryan added that fans should be patient with the team.

Fiji will meet England in the second Cup quarterfinal and Ryan earlier said that it will be hard for him personally meeting England but that will not affect his new role.

Meanwhile, world champions New Zealand and South Africa are the only undefeated teams yesterday.

All Blacks 7s skipper DJ Forbes is hoping that they can finish on a high.

South African Coach Neil Powell stated on irb.com that his side played well even after arriving 48 hours before the tournament started.

The Cup quarterfinals kick off at 1.58pm with New Zealand taking on Samoa, Fiji will meet England at 2:20pm, Australia face Kenya at 2:42pm while South Africa will take on Wales in the last quarter final at 3:04pm.

The Cup semis kicks off at 5.58pm and the Cup final will be played at 9.04pm.

The Gold Coast 7s kicks off in 30 minutes time with the Bowl quarter finals.
