"Team New Zealand Maori will not be an easy side to beat."
That is the view from the Fiji Women's Hockey team manager as they prepare to meet New Zealand Maori later today.
Mereia Shaw said the Maori are always tough and Fiji has never beaten them since the tournament started three years ago, however the girls are ready to give it their best.
Fiji meets the Maori at 5:45pm today in Laucala.
Fiji earlier thrashed Samoa 8 nil on Saturday.
Fiji, Australia, NZ Maori, PNG and Samoa are playing against each other.
The gold, silver and bronze playoffs will be staged on Wednesday at the National Hockey Centre.
