The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has topped Pool A of the Cape Town 7s after thrashing Argentina 43-0 this morning.
The Osea Kolinisau captained side scored seven unanswered tries with a hat‑trick from Apisai Domolailai and a try each from Savenaca Rawaca, Vatemo Ravouvou, Emosi Mulevoro and Alivereti Veitokani.
They will now wait for the pool games to be finished to confirm the team they will play in the quarterfinals.
Fiji is likely to meet New Zealand, Canada or Samoa in the quarterfinals.
The Cup quarter finals will start at 11.04pm today, the Cup semis start at 3.34am tomorrow while the Cup final will kick off at 6.30am tomorrow.
