The Indian High Commissioner to Fiji Professor Prabhakar Jha has today revealed that Fiji will receive $100,000 in aid from India for Cyclone Gene relief.
Professor Jha said the Indian Government had received a request from the interim government for assistance and the money will released soon.
Meanwhile, Professor Jha was the Chief Guest at Nabua Sanatan Primary school today on the Sanatan Diwas celebration. The school which has majority Fijian students performed various cultural items to mark the diwas.
