The Digicel Fiji 7s side strolled their way into the semifinals of the Fiji Water Centennial Oceania 7s after thrashing Solomon Islands 40-0 this morning.

Prop Samuela Saqiwa scored three tries, Samisoni Viriviri scored two while Kelepi Moua scored one to help the host maintain their unbeaten status.

Meanwhile, winger Sunia Kubu has been ruled out of the national side to the Gold Coast 7s next week after suffering a knee injury against PNG yesterday.

Head coach Ben Ryan has confirmed that Osea Kolinisau who is the non-travelling reserve will replace Kubu.

Fiji will meet Australia in the Oceania semifinals at 1.56pm while Samoa will take on Cook Islands in the second Oceania semi at 2.18pm.

In the quarterfinals, Cook Islands beat American Samoa 26-12, Australia outclassed PNG 36-19 while Samoa proved too strong for Tuvalu after scoring 62-0.

Meanwhile, in the International competition semifinals, the Pio Tuwai captained Fiji Warriors side will take on Argentina while Fiji Barbarians will take on France in the second semifinal.
