As part of the Fiji build up to elections in 2014, the Acting Supervisor of Elections is on a fact finding mission to the Solomon Islands.
Soro Toutou upon the approval of the Attorney General and Minister for Justice Aiyaz Sayed Khiayum left yesterday to observe the General Elections in the Solomon Islands.
A government statement confirms that Toutou would be accompanied by the Senior Electoral Officer Viliame Vuiyanuca on this trip to observe elections before, during and after the Election Day.
He will also have briefings with Solomon Islands Election officials on their electoral system, the structure of the Solomon Island Electoral Commission, and observe the counting of post election.
