The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will meet South Africa in the Las Vegas 7s final after defeating New Zealand 19-14 in the semi finals.
Fiji was down 14-5 at halftime after New Zealand was gifted with a penalty try and scoring another try when Kalione Nasoko was sin binned for a high tackle.
Mesulame Kunavula scored Fiji’s first try in the first half.
The national side regrouped in the second half with a quick try to speedster Joeli Lutumailagi who came in for captain Osea Kolinisau.
Fiji’s third try was scored by Masivesi Dakuwaqa who received an offload from Sevuloni Mocenacagi.
Fiji will meet South Africa at 1pm.
