The Vodafone Fiji 7s side will meet series leaders South Africa in the Japan 7s semifinals after thrashing Japan 41-5 in the quarter finals.

The second semifinals will see Canada facing England after the Canada upset the All Blacks sevens side 19-15 in their quarterfinal match.

In other quarterfinal results, South Africa beat Scotland 22-0 while England edged France 10-0.

Looking at Fiji’s win over Japan, the national side crossed over with 7 tries as new find and strong running forward Josaia Wini scored four while Semi Kunatani, Samisoni Viriviri and Savenaca Rawaca scored a try each.

Fiji led 22-5 at halftime before scoring three more tries to outclass the tournament host.

The national side will face South Africa at 6.22 this afternoon while England will meet Canada at 6.44pm.

The final will be held at 9 tonight.
