The Vodafone Fiji 7s team will meet Japan in the quarter finals of the Las Vegas 7s.
Fiji defeated Argentina 15-12 in their last pool game in a tough encounter with two tries from Savenaca Rawaca and a try from Jerry Tuwai.
Japan finished second in Pool B after they upset Scotland 26-19 and drew 19-all with England.
Fiji will meet Japan at 1.53pm.
In the other quarterfinals, Kenya will meet USA at 1.31pm, Fiji play Japan at 1.53pm, South Africa play New Zealand at 2.15pm while Australia play Argentina at 2.37pm.
The Cup quarterfinals will start at 1.31pm today.
The semifinals kick off at 8.50am tomorrow while the Cup Final will kick off at 11.57am tomorrow.
Looking at some results from today’s games, Kenya thrashed New Zealand 22-0, France beat Samoa 31-17 while Russia thrashed Portugal 31-0.
