Fiji to meet Aust in USA 7s quarters
Jerry Burotu broke through the tight South African defence to register the first try of the game to help Fiji lead 5 - 0.
What could have been dubbed a rehearsal of the finals, the two sevens giants kept the crowd at the edge of their seats as South Africa hit right back with a try but it was not converted and the two teams went into the break locked 5 all.
In the second half, the South African defense was relentless, however, Josefata Bole showed why he is in the national side as he touched down for Fiji's second try finishing off a move which started in Fiji's half.
Than it was Fiji's time to defend and only some solid tackling by Fiji kept South Africa from scoring.
Fiji won 12 - 5.
