Fiji will host the 2011 Asia Pacific Golf Teams Championship.

The Nomura Cup that will be held at Denarau in August next year.

This is a first for Golf in Fiji to host an international Golf Tournament of this calibre.

Fiji is also the first South Pacific Island nation to be selected from the APGC membership to host this tournament.

The Nomura Cup 2011 will be played on two golf courses, a first in its 48 year history, due to a growing number of countries who are members of the Asia Pacific grouping.

Whilst the Games Village will be established in Denarau, the tournaments will be played at both Natadola and Denarau golf courses.

A total of 14 countries, including Fiji, Australia, Bangladesh, Cook Islands, Guam, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan and Thailand will participate.
