The Vodafone Fiji 7s team have defeated France 22-5 to book another clash with their Pacific rivals Samoa in the Paris 7s final.

The national side showed a different class of play to break the hearts of the tournament hosts and their home crowd.

Fiji had to dip deep to score four tries with captain Osea Kolinisau scoring two while Josua Tuisova and Vatemo Ravouvou scored a try each.

Fiji led 7-5 at halftime.

Meanwhile Apisai Domolailai was red carded with two minutes left to fulltime after a tip tackle on Virimi Vakatawa.

Fiji will now meet Samoa in the final at 4.15am.

Samoa defeated Argentina 14-12 in the first semifinal.
