The Digicel Fiji 7s team beat South Africa 24-7 in the cup semifinal of the Gold Coast 7's to meet NZ in the final.

The NZ team defeated Australia 26-7 to book its place in the final.
New Zealand was the first team to confirm their spot in the cup semifinal after beating England 24-14, Australia caused the biggest upset beating Samoa 14-12 while South Africa edged France 14-5 in the final quarterfinal match.
In the Cup Semifinal that kicks off at 7.56pm will see New Zealand take on host's Australia while Fiji will take on South Africa at 8:18pm.
The cup final will kick off at 11.05 tonight.
