Fiji will be sending two National Youth teams, a Boys and a Girls team to compete in the Oceania Youth Tournament in Guam by the end of next month.

This will be the sixth Oceania Tournament that Fiji will be taking part in, the first of its kind was held in Fiji back in 1998.

Fiji is currently ranked 3rd at the OYT, behind Australia and New Zealand, and speaking at the announcement of both teams this morning at the FASANOC head-office, Basketball Fiji President, Ioane Naivalurua challenged the team to better their rankings.

The Oceania Youth Tournament will be held in Guam from September 28 to October 4 and will comprise of eight men's and eight women's teams from Guam, Australia, Palau, Northern Marianasa, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea and Fiji.
