The Vodafone Fiji 7's team has defeated Samoa 36-0 after outclassing them in their own physical game at the Las Vegas 7's.

World Sevens Series Player of Year Samisoni Viriviri scores a hat-rick of tries while Emosi Mulevoro, Vatemo Ravouvou and Semi Kunatani scored one try each.

A major worry in the side is Jerry Tuwai who was been replaced by Mulevoro after involving himself in a ruck.

They will then clash with rivals New Zealand at 9.05am tomorrow.

The Cup quarter-finals will be at 1.14pm tomorrow.
