Digicel Fiji Sevens team co-captain, Vereniki Goneva and Bua lad Orisi Sareki scored two tries to thump England by 40 points to nil and take Fiji into the semifinals of the Australia Sevens this evening.
Fiji scored a total of six tries, one try each coming from Japan based Nasoni Roko and Seremaia Burotu.
Speaking to Fijivillage soon after team manager Jope Tuivanuavou had stressed to the boys the importance of winning this one again after Hong Kong.
Kenya also produced another upset in Adelaide this afternoon after beating Adelaide champions South Africa last night and this afternoon beating the current World Champs Wales by 33-14.
Kenya will now go on to meet Argentina, who beat hosts Australia by 12 points to 5, in the first Cup semifinal at 6:26pm.
The 2nd Cup semifinal will see Fiji meeting South Africa at 6:48pm.
The Australia Cup finals will kick off at 8:50pm.
