The Digicel Fiji Sevens team is through to the quarter finals of the England Sevens where they will face Australia at 11.20pm tonight.

The Iliesa Tanivula coached side finished as runners up from Pool C after a 21 all draw with South Africa early this morning.

South Africa leads the pool points standing with a better difference after beating France 19-12 and thumping Canada 43-nil.

On the other hand Fiji had a close 28-19 win against Canada before beating France 29-14.

In the game against South Africa, Fiji was leading 14-nil before a yellow card to Semi Keli which resulted in the Paul Treu coached side coming back to force a 21 all draw.

In other results, Kenya held New Zealand to a 19 all draw, Argentina upset Samoa 14-10 but the Lolo Lui led side will still go through to the quarter finals.

Australia which will take on Fiji in the quarter finals thrashed England 38-5 in their last pool game.

Looking at the quarter finals at 10.58pm, Argentina face Wales, Fiji up against Australia at 11.20pm, and England will take on South Africa at 11.42pm in the last quarter-final and New Zealand will play Samoa at 12.04am.
