Fiji through to cup quarters
In their final pool encounter Fiji beat Australia 31-nil with tries from William Ryder, Osea Kolinisau touching down twice, Emosi Vucago and Sireli Naqelevuki.
Fiji earlier in Pool games thrashed Portugal 50 points to 7 and also beat Russia by 31-12. Iliesa Tanivula's men will now face South Africa in the Cup quarterfinal tomorrow morning at 1:57.
The other Cup quarterfinals will see Kenya against Australia at 12:51am England meets New Zealand at 1:13am, Samoa take on Argentina at 1.35am and the last quarterfinal between Fiji and South Africa.
Meanwhile in pool games today, there were few upsets. Samoa defeated New Zealand by 24-22 and Australia was held 14-all by Russia.
