The Digicel Fiji 7s team will meet Kenya in the Cup quarterfinals of the London 7s at 9.50 tonight.
After a disappointing 27-0 loss to England, Fiji bounced back to beat Argentina 24-0 in their second pool match and then thrashed Samoa 33-7 in their last pool match earlier this morning.
Samisoni Viriviri scored two tries while the outstanding Jasa Veremalua, Joji Ragamate and Emosi Mulevoro scored a try each to give Fiji a much needed victory.
In the other quarterfinals, New Zealand will take on Argentina at 9.28pm, Australia will play USA at 10.12pm and England will meet South Africa at 10.34pm.
The Cup semifinals will be at 2.22 tomorrow morning while the Cup final will kick off at 5.14am.
In other results, Argentina beat England 26-17, USA defeated Scotland 7s champion South Africa 19-12, New Zealand beat Wales 45-5, while Australia defeated France 35-12.
