The Digicel Fiji 7s team is through to the Cup quarterfinal of the NZ 7s after thumping Australia 38-7 in their last pool match.
The Iliesa Tanivula coached side will now meet South Africa in the cup quarterfinal.
New Zealand outclassed South Africa 19 – 7 in the last pool game to meet Australia in the other cup quarterfinal.
Samoa beat Argentina 33-14 to top its pool and will play Kenya while England will meet Canada in the other cup quarterfinals.
England defeated Kenya 24-10 to top its pool while Kenya came out runners-up.
Fiji scored 7 tries against PNG in their second pool game to beat Waisale Serevi coached Papua New Guinea side by 39-0.
Waisale Beci looked impressive again in the second game and scored Fiji's first try.
Other tries came from Jerry Burotu, Osea Kolinisau, Pio Tuwai, Apisai Nayabo, William Ryder and Setefano Cakau.
Fiji led 17-0 at half time.
The Fiji team look very dangerous with the ball in hand and they are setting up tries from anywhere in the field however defence remains a concern when the opposition has the ball.
Burotu and Pio Tuwai are looking very strong and ensuring that Fiji has the possession it needs to score tries.

Digicel Fiji 7s Coach Ilisea Tanivula has made two changes to the starting line-up to take on Papua New Guinea at 5:24pm today.
William Ryder will start for Fiji in the second game.
Ryder comes in for Jiuta Lutumailagi who had a good game against Scotland.
The Fiji team to take on PNG: In the forwards Jerry Burotu, Watisoni Votu and Pio Tuwai. In the backs, captain Emosi Vucago, William Ryder, Osea Kolinisau and Waisale Beci.
Speaking before Fiji's second game, Manager Alifereti Malo said Fiji can do even better after watching the first game.
It was a good start by the Digicel Fiji Sevens team in their first game of the New Zealand Sevens.
Fiji thumped Scotland by 36-5.
Fiji scored 6 tries against the Scots.
Osea Kolinisau had a superb start and crossed the Scottish try line just 25 seconds into the match.
This is the quickest try scored in the tournament so far.
Jiuta Lutumailagi converted the try and went on to score Fiji's second try.
Jerry Burotu also looks strong returning from injury and scored Fiji's third.
Fiji led Scotland by 17-0 at half time.
The start of the second half saw Kolinisau scoring his second try. William Ryder came off the bench to increase Fiji's lead to 31-0.
Defence remains an issue for the Digicel Fiji Sevens team as the Scots managed to beat a number of tacklers a number of times and eventually managed to score a try.
The game ended with Waisale Beci scoring another try for Fiji.
Meanwhile, the Gordon Tietjens coached New Zealand Sevens side began their quest at home on a high note after they defeated Wales in their first pool game by 29-5.
Sherwin Stowers scored two of New Zealand's 6 tries and a try each went to Ben Souness, Captain DJ Forbes and Nafi Tuitavake.
New Zealand led Wales 17-nil at half time.
Just looking at the results of today's game, Samoa beat France 31-19, Canada thrashed Argentina 26-7, England 31 USA 7, Kenya 15 Tonga 7, Fiji beat Scotland 36-5 and Australia beat PNG 31-12.
South Africa thumped Niue 38-10.
