The Digicel Fiji 7s team put on a strong finish at the Gold Coast 7s after thrashing Kenya 36-nil in the Plate final.
After being beaten by England in the Cup quarters Fiji was ruthless in defense scoring six tries to claim an impressive victory.
Fiji’s tries came from Samisoni Viriviri, Waisea Nacuqu, Sakiusa Nadruku, Ilai Tinai with Benito Masilevu dotting down twice.
Fiji kicks off its IRB World 7s Series with 13 points after the win and is in fifth position on the overall standing.
