The Digicel Fiji 7s team will spend the next few days of preparation in South Africa to work on some key areas that England exposed in the semifinal loss in Dubai.

Head coach, Alifereti Dere and his assistant Eddy Waqa will have to do some homework to fix the kick-offs, scrums, support play and defence which stood out in the 19-12 loss to England.

One of England's kick-offs was lost by Fiji and it resulted in a try under the posts for them to take a 12-7 lead in the second half.

Also the England forwards managed to put a lot of pressure on Fiji's own put-in to their scrum which resulted in the back-line being pressured in attack.

On two occasions, Joeli Lutumailagi and Osea Kolinisau were put on a clear but could not find the try line as there was no support play when the England defence caught up on them.

Fiji will play Portugal at 10.37pm this Friday in its first pool match, then they will play Zimbabwe at 1.43am Saturday and the last pool match is against Wales at 6.32am.

The cup quarter finals start at 11.44pm Saturday while the cup semi finals start at 3.59am Sunday.

The Cup final will kick off at 6.40am Sunday.
