The Digicel Fiji 7s team will not take part in the Coral Coast 7s this weekend.
Chairman of the organising committee, Jay White confirmed that an invitation was sent out to the Fiji Rugby Union and it has been confirmed that the National team will not be part of the tournament.
Meanwhile, 7s Maestro and Team Serevi coach, Waisale Serevi will today visit Naqalimare District School in the interior of Navosa to relay some 7s skills and spoils to the students at the school.
White added that the New Zealand Barbarians team will arrive into the country tonight while other teams namely Wellington, Auckland Marist and New Zealand Lomaiviti will arrive tomorrow.
Local teams that will take part include defending champions, Red Rock, Police, Navy and Nasolo Young Boys to name e few.
The two-day Coral Coast 7s kicks off at Lawaqa Park on Friday.
