The Digicel Fiji 7's team has suffered another shock loss at NZ Sevens after been beaten by Canada 28-19 in the Bowl final.

Speaking from Wellington Captain Setefano Cakau said that the players gave away possession and lost focus in the game.

The side defeated France 19-17 in the semifinals.

Meanwhile, England came from behind to edge a determined Kenya side 24-19 in extra time in the Cup Final.

Kenya was leading 19-12 until the final play, as two of their players were sin bin.

England took full advantage of the two extra men and scored a try to force the game into extra time.
 
England Coach Ben Ryan says hard work and sacrifice really paid off for the players as the Cup win was unexpected.


The Kenyans earlier on upset hosts NZ 19-14 in the semifinals and that match was also decided in extra-time. 

New Zealand won the third place beating Samoa 17-7 and Australia defeated Scotland 22-7 to clinch the Plate.

New Zealand leads the series standings with 77 points, followed by Kenya with 56 points then Samoa with 54 points.
 
Fiji is tied in fourth place with 51 points with France and South Africa.
