Fiji started its Hong Kong 7s campaign on a high note beating Korea 42-7. Fiji took time to settle down in the game as Korea scored straight after the kickoff with their splendid passing.

The Koreans surprised the National side in the earlier stage of the game but Fiji got back on the score board through Emosi Vucago and William Ryder as the scores read 14-7 at the breather.

Fiji came back strongly in the second half and scored five unanswered tries.
