Renowned Australian broadcaster and commentator Les Murray believes the Fiji National soccer team needs to play regular international matches.

While speaking to Fijivillage in Nadi, Murray said he believes that the National Soccer team should be exposed to the public as they are a source of pride for the nation.

He added that young soccer players in Fiji need to be developed to a quality that is internationally competitive.

Murray said this is only achievable with the right kind of coaching and vision set by the Fiji Football Association.

He said he has seen a lot of excellent raw talent in Fiji over the years, who need to be educated and polished.

Murray is also known as Mr. Football in Australia.

He was hosted by Fiji Airways for dinner at the Sofitel Resort, Nadi last night.
