A soccer referee from Fiji has been picked to officiate at the Junior Olympics soccer tournament in Singapore.

Referees Director, Chandra Segran confirmed that Sigatoka school teacher, Ravinesh Kumar will be leaving for Singapore this Sunday.

Segran added that Kumar will gain great exposure at the tournament as he will be amongst the best referees in the World.   

Meanwhile, Soccer referees from the Southern Division will go through a fitness test at TFL National Stadium this evening for the Inkk Mobile Battle of the Giants soccer tournament.

Segran said the trials for referees in the Northern and Western Division has been completed and after getting today's result, they will name 20 best referees who will officiate at the BOG.
