The Fiji soccer team received a timely boost ahead of the Pacific Games as Fiji has improved 15 places on the FIFA rankings.
Fiji is now ranked 141 out of the 203 countries and this improvement has come after Fiji's International matches against Vanuatu and Samoa.
Fiji Football Association President, Sheik Ibrahim said more International matches are in line after the Pacific games.
Meanwhile, Fiji will play Tahiti at 4pm this Saturday in its opening match of the Pacific games.
