Fiji along with the ten member countries of the Oceania Football Confederation are expected to each receive close to $600,000 from the World Governing Body.

At their 21st Congress where a new President was appointed, FIFA President Joseph Blatter announced a special bonus of USD$2.5 million to add to the USD $5 million that the Confederation was projected to receive from FIFA during 2011.

Meanwhile, David Chung from PNG Football Association was elected unopposed as OFC President for a four-year term while Fiji FA president Doctor Sahu Khan was also elected to the 7 member board.

Former OFC Present, Reynald Temari'i though cleared of bribery with regards to FIFA World Cup hosting rights is facing allegations of breach of privacy.
