The Fiji soccer team climbed three places up in the latest rankings released by FIFA.

They are now sitting in 129 place.

Fiji FA President Doctor Samsud Dean Sahu Khan said their rankings will be much better this year as they are trying to line up international matches for the National team.

Meanwhile New Zealand who will represent Oceania in the World Cup in June, has jumped three place up to 79 while Australia is ranked 23.

Spain remains the world's number one team, with Brazil second and Netherlands 3rd.
