The Vodafone Fiji 7s team is ready to defend their title in Hong Kong.
First up is last year’s runners-up Wales and captain Osea Kolinisau knows what is at stake.
Last year Fiji made one of the greatest comeback victories in Hong Kong after being down by 19-0 at half time in the final against Wales before replacement player Kolinisau scored three tries plus one from Samisoni Viriviri to win 26-19.
Kolinisau said the atmosphere in Hong Kong is different from any other tournament and most fans always want Fiji to win.
Kolinisau added that the win in Japan is history now but they had a special celebration for their achievement.
The Hong Kong 7s starts tomorrow.
On Saturday Fiji will take on Wales in their first pool match at 1.26am, then Sri Lanka at 5.24pm and then Kenya in their last pool match at 11.16pm.
On Sunday the cup quarterfinals will start 3.28pm, cup semis will start at 7.52pm and the cup final will be at 10.25pm.
