The Flying Fijians pool opponents for the 2011 Rugby World Cup have now been confirmed after Namibia overcame Tunisia 22-10 on Saturday to qualify.

Fiji is in Pool D which has defending champions South Africa, Wales, Samoa and now Namibia.

The battle for the African number 1 qualifying team was still wide open at halftime, with Tunisia holding a narrow 10-9 lead but Namibia came back strongly in the second half to book a place in the World Cup.

Fiji is in the pool of death with both South Africa and Wales who are ranked above them in the latest IRB ranking while Samoa is always a threat.

Meanwhile, the Fiji team returns from their Europe tour this week after they defeated Romania 29-18 in their last game yesterday.
