The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has defeated Wales 42-5 in the second pool match of the London 7s.
The national side scored six tries to outclass Wales who showed a fighting spirit against the Fijians.
Fiji's tries were scored by Samisoni Viriviri, Jerry Tuwai, Amenoni Nasila, Masivesi Dakuwaqa while lanky forward Viliame Mata scored twice.
Possession was the key to their victory as coach Ben Ryan reminded the players to maintain possession throughout the game.
Masivesi Dakuwaqa, Amenoni Nasilasila and Jarryd Hayne were instrumental as they made a huge impact while coming in into the second half.
Fiji will now face Australia in a do or die match in their last pool match at 4.54am today.
A win against Australia will give them a place in the quarterfinals and also means retaining the World Sevens Series title.
