Fiji out of USA 7s Cup finals
Australia scored three tries in the first half and led 21-0 at half time.
Australia scored another try in the second half to extend their lead to 28-0.
Fiji only managed to score one try in the dying seconds of the game.
Fiji was barely in the game, missing tackles, dropping the ball, kicking aimlessly which cost them dearly.
Australia on the other hand played well on attack and in defense denying Fiji the much needed space and possession to score tries.
Australia will now face Samoa in the second semifinal of the USA 7s tournament this afternoon.
Samoa also looks good after they beat Wales in the third quarterfinal by 17-10.
Meanwhile New Zealand will face Kenya in the first semifinal at 1.22pm.
The Gordon Tietjens New Zealand side beat South Africa 12-5 in the first quarterfinal.
Kenya is a surprise team in the USA 7s semi final, after they beat England 26-21 in extra time to seal their place in the last four.
Both Kenya and England were locked at 21-all after full time and in the extra-time Kenya got a winning try after a mistake by England's veteran player Ben Gollings.
Once again the first Cup semifinal at 1.22 this afternoon New Zealand plays Kenya and at 1.44pm, Australia take on Samoa.
Fiji will play Wales in the plate semifinal at 1pm today.
England will meet South Africa in the first plate semifinal at 12:38pm.
The USA 7s Cup final will start at 3:46pm.
