The Digicel Fiji Sevens team has been beaten in the Plate semifinal by 24 points to 12 in the USA Sevens by New Zealand.
Fiji led 12-5 at the break with tries from Pio Tuwai and Seremaia Burotu while Zar Lawrence crossed the try line for New Zealand.
Viliame Waqaseduadua for New Zealand, scored a brace of tries in the second half to deny Fiji another win, as they advanced into the Plate final.
Meanwhile, the first Cup semifinal will start at 11:08 between South Africa and England.
Then at 11:30am, host USA face Argentina in the second semifinal.
